Gilley Pool, Municipal Public Facility

Client:

City of McMinnville, Tennessee

Project:

Gilley Pool Complex

Size:

Pool is over 21,000 s.f. of water surface area

Budget:

Pool and associated support structures cost approx. $2,600,000

The
Challenge:

To design a new aquatic facility to replace an aging municipal pool, meeting tight budget and schedule constraints. The new facility – including an Olympic-size pool, two 25-meter practice pools, a diving well, play pool, snack bar, and locker room facilities -- was designed to fit the same location as the old single pool, which required complex space programming.
